Export Compliance Notice

Overview

This notice explains the encryption and export compliance status of Kijani Wellness, developed by Damalie Inc (Canada).

Encryption Usage

Kijani Wellness uses standard encryption as follows:

• All network communications use industry-standard HTTPS/TLS encryption provided by the operating system and platform libraries
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt, a standard cryptographic hashing function
• Authentication tokens are standard JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
• No proprietary or custom cryptographic algorithms are implemented
• No non-standard encryption is used

Exempt from Export Compliance Reporting

Kijani Wellness qualifies for exemption from export compliance reporting under the following basis:

• The App uses only standard encryption built into the iOS platform (ATS/TLS)
• The App does not implement any proprietary encryption
• The App falls under the "Encryption Exemptions" as defined by the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and Canadian export regulations

When submitting to the Apple App Store, Kijani Wellness is classified as:

• Uses standard encryption: Yes
• Proprietary encryption: No
• Qualifies for exemption: Yes
