• Profile data: Height, weight, age, biological sex, fitness goals, activity level, dietary preferences
• Health & wellness data: Meal logs, workout sessions, fasting logs, herbal tracker entries, meditation usage
• Usage data: App interactions, features used, session duration
• Device information: Device type, operating system, app version

3. Authentication Providers

We support the following sign-in methods:

• Apple Sign In: We receive an identity token and optional email/name from Apple. Apple may use a private relay email address.
• Google Sign In: We receive an ID token and basic profile information from Google.
• Email/Password: Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the App's features
• To calculate your TDEE, calorie goals, and wellness metrics
• To generate AI-powered meal plans, coaching insights, and recommendations
• To track your progress and consistency over time
• To send wellness reminders and notifications (with your permission)
• To improve our services and fix bugs

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Kijani Wellness uses AI models to generate meal plans, coaching insights, habit analyses, and wellness recommendations. This content is generated algorithmically and is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Railway (PostgreSQL) infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Third-Party Services

• Railway: Database hosting
• Groq AI: AI inference for coaching and meal planning
• Resend: Email delivery
• Apple / Google: Authentication providers
• Vercel: Frontend hosting

8. Health Data

We collect health-related information such as weight, height, calorie intake, and workout data solely to provide wellness features within the App. This data is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not integrate with Apple Health or Google Fit at this time.

9. Your Rights

• Access your personal data through the App's Settings
• Export your data by contacting us
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

10. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

11. Children's Privacy

Kijani Wellness is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
